Today we bring you Kan Zaman; a Mediterranean gem located in the heart of downtown Honolulu. While there’s many Moroccan & Lebanese dishes to choose from, our #weeklybiteZ focuses on the Merguez Sandwich.

Here’s the breakdown of what’s inside:

Merquez – a grilled lamb sausage, spiced with cumin and fennel

Harissa – a North African chile paste made with garlic and spices

Now put those two together with some cheese into a pressed baguette, and you have Kan Zaman’s delicious sandwich. Perfectly seasoned with just enough spice! Be sure you stop in for lunch, the sandwich is only available from 11-5pm.
